One of the best teachers I ever had.

I'll miss him, and watching how his hands just...there are no words for how he would arrange and evoke, the colors, the shapes; and how his class had this dreamlike quality. He wasn't my advisor (that honor went to the fabulous finger-paintin' Arthur Cohen), but he had a hell of an influence on me.
