I want to give a big shout out to the Red Cross, who were so helpful in getting J.'s brother home from the sandbox. They got him commercial flights from Kuwait all the way to the little local airport, so he was comfortable. If you have the inclination, slide them a few dollars. They do great things.

The funeral is Tuesday and J. is trying to get a flight out the same day. I told him to take his time, The Mother needs him.

I need the distraction. I feel so useless stuck up here while everyone else is in Texas making busy.
