siannanI had this peculiar and wonderful dream about going to Cold Spring Harbor and getting on a ferry boat with most of the casts of The West Wing and 24. I was seated between John Spencer and Dennis Haysbert and I thought I was going to burst from awe. Then this whole Stargate: SG-1 subplot came in and I was much distracted by having suddenly turned into some amalgam/archetype of Maj. Carter. Then Col. O'Neill got blown up. Then the ferry docked at the Port Authority which somehow existed on the Lower East Side. Then Jor-El and J'onn J'onzz showed up and shit got REALLY weird. There was a running subplot where I was trying to write Sandman fanfiction in the dream, and I was thinking "Oh, Neil Gaiman will be so impressed with me" but now that I'm awake the story is utter dross.
Speaking as a lukewarm HP fan (if you can even call me that; I'd much rather they serialized Tamora Pierce's work onscreen), Kate Winslet is too old to play Fleur Delacour. Ridiculous. I'd still bang her til her head fell off.
