I answered this years ago. I would go and learn to fly the Goodyear Blimp, see. Then buy a baby grand piano. A white baby grand piano. Then I would use the blimp the fly the piano over the Grand Canyon and drop it in, but not before having a bunch of sound engineers set up a whole slew of recording stuff. The resulting sound would be made available to Foley artists for a small royalty. I bet I could live off the fees for the rest of my life, thus freeing up the bulk of the initial lotto win for philanthropy because frankly I have most everything I need except a new patio.
I think it would probably be the most excellent sound ever. I mean, its one of those noises that you can probably imagine, but you really want to be sure about.
