I got x-rays today. They had nothing but halogen lamps in the waiting room (which give me headaches), and this one woman was there who would not shut up the entire hour I had to wait. She kept talking to every person within range about her insipid life. "bibbidybibbidyblahblahblah" and people are trying to read their magazines but she's oblivious.

Then she started talking about her nephew with Marfan Syndrome...except she kept calling it "morphine" syndrome. She's describing the symptoms and keeps namedropping "morphine" and I desperately wanted to correct her but I knew that then she would latch onto me as her next target.

THEN she started handing out business cards for her husbands contracting company. She kept insisting that he worked only on the most exclusive Gold Coast type homes...but his office is in like, Dumpwater. Yeeeahhhh.

I was so glad to GTFO of there. My doc thinks I chipped a bone or something but we'll see.

That office made me nauseated. I couldn't even get ice cream on the way home, so I just had a sip of J.'s shake and I still don't feel well.
