I have said this before and I feel like saying it again.
I love abortion.
I've never had one.
I've never been pregnant.
But I love abortion. I love that its medically available where I live. I love that I have that option. I love that I do not have to become an incubator against my will.
I do not want to give birth. I will not ever give birth. If I become pregnant, I will not give birth. I will terminate the pregnancy as soon as possible. I will do it safely and legally in a medical establishment by whatever procedure is deemed best to undergo at that juncture.
I choose.
Not them.

Just because one can do something doesn't mean one should do something. Thus, bringing full circle, the concept that just because humans can engage in sexual congress with each other doesn't make it a wise idea nor one free from the responsibilities associated with that action. No amount of rationalization after the fact negates the fact that planning ahead and being preventative in multiple ways is the wiser of the courses should one wish to avoid being pregnant. It a simple cause and effect matrix; if you don't wish for the effect to present itself then you should avoid the cause. One cannot decouple the possibility of a burn from sticking their hand in a fire no matter the precautions taken, but if you must stick your hand in the fire then taking every step possible to minimize the chances of being burned is the prudent course of action. One also cannot, after having burned their hand by voluntarily sticking said hand in a fire, claim to be a victim of the fire or those who set it."
