siannan: (you bastard!)

That's enough of an acknowledgement for me. Thanks, Garry. :)
siannan: (bored in hell)
Raise your hand if you got GLEXIES BOOB SPAM.

I like going to the computer store and looking at the big bin of mouse balls. There is beauty and comfort in great quantities of mundane things. I think that's why I always liked the factory films on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
siannan: (teh gr8 garloo!)

After watching the entire first season of Challenge of the Super Friends on DVD I wonder why I didn't turn out completely retarded from watching it as a kid.

Not to go all Seanbaby here (*fag*cough*fag*), but fuckaduck, that show made NO FUCKING SENSE. Aquaman is flying in the opening credits, for one. FLYING. Then there's this thing where Brainiac or some asshole (he and Lex Luthor look too much alike) build this fucking laser and LASERS THE MOON IN HALF. So of course Superman shows up and WELDS IT BACK TOGETHER WITH HIS HEAT VISION.

It was right about then I had a brain aneurysm.

Having Sinestro say "My magic ring can hypnotize computers!" didn't help any. I wailed and hid my head behind a throw pillow.

Wonder Woman mentions her magic lasso in every fucking episode. "blah blah blah MY MAGIC LASSO!" And she's fucking powerless without the damn thing. Yeah, great. And that fucking invisible plane that I have NEVER understood, because what good is an invisible plane IF YOU AREN'T INVISIBLE INSIDE IT?

And don't get me started on Apache Chief and Samurai and Black Vulcan (no, not Tuvok, BLACK VULCAN! no, not Black Lightning, you jive turkey! BLACK VULCAN, DAMMIT!)

I am at least thankful that those retardoid Wonder Twins weren't in that season. They are the Scrappy-Doos of the Justice League franchise; them and Wendy and Marvin and Wonderdog.

Of course you realize that I want you all to rent and watch this travesty, and be thankful that there were things like Schoolhouse Rock to counteract all this hooey (except for the History Rock ones, which were stupid and error-riddled and propagandizing).
