DuFarge had it easy.
Jul. 15th, 2008 11:26 pmIf I ever again consider buying a mess of fingering-weight yarn to knit a pattern that consists solely of tight 1x1 ribbing on size 3 needles...KICK ME IN THE HEAD UNTIL I REGAIN MY SENSES.
The yarn is gorgeous (I got GrapeJuice) but I've been knitting for hours and I only have about six inches done. I refuse to put it aside and start something more interesting because I know I'll never finish it otherwise.
Only worsted and thicker for me from now on, kthx. Or lace weight if I can put it on big needles and make some fluffy mobius scarf or something. Or something with a pattern to it. I can't handle the tedium.
Also I bonked my forehead while taking down the recycle bin and now I have a big old stigmata scab. *grumble*
