We just had more rain here, just now, than when the storm came by and was like "wassup."

I hate weather.

As per Delaware's usual: rain drops I could dodge.

Charley just skipped by and spit at us. Feh.

Yes, it would appear there wasn't much in the way of wind here, either. Or rain, for that matter.

FLOOD WATCH? WHAT FLOOD WATCH?

OH MY GOD IT RAINED SO GOD DAMN HARD!!!!!!
not!

The only thing it did was make the big rock thing and the hill up to my friends house wet, so when the drunk kids were running around like dweebs they fell and scraped their knees.

THANKS CHARLEY!
(still thinkin it shoulda been Bonnie and Clyde.)

Well, my point was that if you enjoy A/C you didn't really want strong winds. We were extremely lucky in that 105mph winds, the eye passing within 10 miles of my house, and a tornadoes passing as close as 5 houses to my house all combined for a power loss of less than 24 hours.

None of the houses I've seen looked fucked, but I'm sure a few people downtown lost houses when gigantic oak trees fell on them. Last numbers I saw said 4,000 people are newly homeless. I'm kind of hoping they're all from Sanibel Island.

I'll be posting pictures soon. Stay tuned.
