Man, some people just have to piss in the Cheerios.

Seriously. Folks worked hard to make something whimsical and pretty only to have it get shat on by some self-righteous anti-art dunderheads.

It just makes me sad that those people got together and made something nice for the community to look at, and those self-righteous dittoheads are crapping on it.

Hmm. Dog shit biodegrades. Maybe they'd rather have some of that around the park, instead of a lovingly created art installation.

Jesus Christ, that person is like the perfect intersection between Self-Righteous and Stupid.

Which one, the candy heart or the one who thinks I don't know what "litter" is?

Well, both, really, but I was thinking of the "You don't understand environmental science!" twit.

I think it's adorable.

My neighborhood has less cute graffiti, although it does have two high points: happy trees and a stencil cow.

Happy trees are happy!

We have someone stenciling John Goodman faces on traffic signs around here.

One town over, someone else is stenciling Bob Saget faces.

I find this endlessly amusing :D

I love this. It looks like Nemesis from the Resident Evil movies.

Eeek, I think there was an issue of Hellblazer with a story like that.

I thought the knit garland was lovely!

And the criticism is LAME.

I think I'm going to decorate the gate to the beach with some knitted foofies one of these days.

That garland makes me happy and it isn't "litter", for fuck's sake. And there's nothing wrong with graffiti art (tagging, however, is a territorial pissing that I don't understand, but nor do I condemn it because of my lack of understanding).

why not just use wool or cotton? i don't even understand the argument. plastic yarns don't have a place in the public space.
