siannanHe's sleeping off the anesthesia; since it's metabolized by the liver and his liver function is currently compromised, he'll be out for awhile. Therefore they couldn't inform me of any improvement.
They did a full liver biopsy while they had him open -- the local vet did a needle biopsy last week, but this will give more conclusive results.
He is a good beast. :) I miss him terribly. When J. gets back tomorrow night he wants to drive right over and get him (it's a 24 hour ER) but I'm gonna make him get a night's sleep first.
