I am a little pissed off that the whole extravagance with the Friends finale (come on now, who the hell has watched that shit since the whole Emily wedding "I take thee Rachel" horseshit?) totally overshadowed what was probably the saddest episode of ER that I have ever seen (and that includes the one where Bob Newhart kills himself and the one with Dana Elcar because I love Dana Elcar and the one where Luca is talking to the Archbishop played by Zephraim Cochran/Farmer Hoggett and we see the whole flashback of his entire family dying and the one where the helicopter finishes what it started with Romano HAHAHA just kidding).

And god damn, I hate Rob and Amber.

I watched ER at the bar. O_o

Oddly enough, my umbilical cord was tied in a knot when I was born. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on one's viewpoint!) there was no major harm done.

twins aside, it was totally predictible but it was what the viewers wanted. i wasn't disappointed that much because it was the perfect amount of closure to the show.. kind of like when a book has just the right ending.

i'm hoping the previews for Joey aren't showing the funniest (and only funny) parts

what is ridiculous to me is that the entire network turned themselves inside out to "honor" a stupid show...it was meaningless from the beginning all the way to the end, a group of whiny, spoiled urbanites who never amounted to any good for the world but here they go having hours of albeit already stupid network programming glom all over it

why not spend some time honoring ground breaking and inspiring shows? ones that made a difference in people's lives? ones that don't get enough publicity? what are they afraid that someone has missed about "Friends"?

and i thought the ER epsiode where Carey's wife dies and Henry gets taken away from her was sad enough...i was sobbing openly as i did at last night's as well

It's bugging me that there was no mention made last night about Weaver's custody battle. I don't think they're going to resolve it until next season, but it would have been nice to see some reference to it.

I like how Corday was totally cool about giving emergency contraception to Rachel and got Dr. Smarmy Brit to write out an rX for The Pill so that she won't catch hell for giving it to her.

i know, i couldn't believe how they glossed over the custody thing...focusing on the graduation which i know is important for the struggling to find herself still Lockhart, but the custody thing is far more dramatic

maybe two baby issues in one night would have taken away from John and Cam's ordeal

i liked the contraceptive part too, especially seeing how uncomfortable Corday was around Rachel, so much unresolved tension but for her to do the right thing no questions asked, no lectures, was great

Yeah, and I think she will be much more at ease with herself, now that Rachel gave her permission (so to speak) to get on with her life.

I like the teacher guy much better than Dr. Smarmy Brit, who makes me want to tie his shoelaces together.

...just to openly drool at ms. nagra, whom i am enamored with. when i clicked it on (kind of the begining, i was watching young guns 2 to avoid friends), there were people crying. i went to make a grilled cheese sammich, came back and people were crying. at commercial, i clicked on the daily show, forgot about ER, when i went back, people were crying......except for when i saw a fat naked man as my dream girl was showing her family around, when i looked at ER i saw people crying. i guess i wish i knew what was going on. but since i dont, i found it odd that everytime i turned back to the show, someone was crying.

I might have missed a few minutes of Survivor here and there, but was there any fucking reason why nobody voted for Amber instead of BIG DUM TOM at tribal council?

I have never found Ambore attractive in the least. She's dull as a sponge and not pretty atall.

Jenna's a dumbass, but I am so fucking disappointed in He-who-was-formerly-My-Man Rupert. PLAY THE GAME, RUPERT. Play the fucking game and stop being one of Rob's Zombies (oo! I made a funny!).

This would not have happened if Lex hadn't been suckered so easily.

This reply just reminded me that Survivor is on in about 20 minutes. The whole thing annoys me to no end.. it's like Survivor: Thailand when it came down to the final three or four, and everybody wanted to vote off Brian but nobody got toogether to make a plan to get rid of him. Then he ended up winning.
