I was lucky enough to not have to be speculumed. That is the good news.

The bad news is that I probably have some monstrous colossal ovarian follicle thing going on. Tuesday I go for an ultrasound with the Giant Penis Probe of Doom so that this can be confirmed (provided I don't suffer from any sudden attacks of Exploding Pevis Syndrome).

Bleh. I don't wanna ovulate ever ever ever. This sucks. I almost wish it was an ectopic pregnancy so I could have them rip everything out.

One of my friends had a fibroid cyst removed from her uterus. It had teeth and hair. X_X

Teratomas are so fucking cool.

There's a Margaret Atwood story about this woman who keeps her teratoma in formaldehyde and then sends it to her ex-husband in a candy box.

There was some kind of 600lb child-growing tumor on TV when I was little and I was permanently scarred. ;p

The Giant Penis Probe of Doom, on the other hand....

What should we be hoping for?

The last time I thought seriously about finding a way to not ouvlate, my ovaries retaliated with three months of anovulatory bleeding, so now I just simmer at them and take bitchwort and black cohosh when I feel crampy. It mostly works, and much better than the medical industry's lies that the Pill stops bleeding.
